Chicken Feet, Coincidence, and Cheese-Week 3 in Pictures

CHICKEN FEET
Many foods here are wonderful such as mangos, pad thai, and grilled chicken. The food is often very flavorful and I have noticed that my spice tolerance has gone up since I arrived in Thailand. I draw the line at eating chicken feet though, I only pretended for the camera. :)

COINCIDENCE
While this neighborhood Mickey Mouse hanging out with Asia and I seems like it must be a coincidence, many things that happened this last week certainly weren't coincidence. On Wednesday, right after I asked that you pray for the missionaries to be used while in language studies, the Weimers met and were an encouragement to three different people asked them if they were Christians. It turns out those who asked are Christians too! Then, Thursday, no students came to English club and instead Doni and I were interviewed and videod by students working on an English project and Doni got to share that she is here to tell people about Jesus and His love. Thursday night the Weimer family and I got to be a listening ear and to pray for some missionaries who are in a tough place and needed some encouragement. Please continue to pray that God will give these opportunities to encourage believers and tell non-believers about Christ to the team.

CHEESE
Saturday was exciting for me because it was my first time going anywhere with only Thai people. I ate lunch and hung out at the mall with P Gai (left) and Nuai (right). Of course, Gai and Nuai are actually nicknames which mean "chicken" and "cheese" respectively. All Thai people have a nickname which can be a Thai or English word. Nuai is P Gai's disciple and she became a Christian last Tuesday. The Campus Crusade ministry here loves the students of KKU and deeply desires that they know Christ. Please pray for strength physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually for the Campus Crusade staff who are full-time pouring their lives out so that others might know Christ. Staff members include Gai, Check, Bee, Art, M, and others. Pray that God will use their ministry and that he will raise up faithful disciples who will in turn tell others about Christ.
